Job Title: Business Analyst

Duration of Contract: 6 Months with potential for long term extension

Overture Partners client is searching for an experienced Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have proven experience driving project deliverables  to successful completion.

Opportunity Overview :
  •  Analyzes and evaluates data/systems business requirements for existing and new development.
  • Documents technical and business specifications and functional needs and modifies existing requirements
  • Leads the data analysis and profile efforts for new client implementations and system enhancements.
  • Facilitates technical meetings with IT and business project team.
  • Provides data mappings, user interface specifications, processing logic as per business requirements to the Developer.
  • Maintains continuous communications with customers and all relevant team members
  • Responsible for rests development efforts and assists clients in user acceptance testing.
  • Develops and maintains a project plan, documents meeting notes and distributes to team.
  • Delivers regular status reports to internal stakeholders and teams
  • Acts as mentor to junior team members
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of Business analysis experience
  • Proven experience with various database structures (e.g., transaction based vs. data warehouse)
  • Working experience with  AWS and/or cloud computing services a plus

Educational and Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certifications in software development methodologies (i.e. Scrum)  is desired, but not required
Work location and Additional Info:
  • Fully remote
  • Occasional evening and weekend work
  • Willingness to Travel
