Duration of Contract: 6 Months with potential for long term extension

Our client has an immediate need for a Business Systems Analyst to join their team.  The Business Systems Analyst provide support and guidance to end users to optimize workflow and best practices.  Successful candidates will development and maintain strong collaborative relationships across organization. 

Opportunity Overview:
  • Support and educate end users with Epic clinical and complementary applications
  • Address end users questions of the methods/workflows and best practices of utilizing applications.  
  • Responsible for document and analyze business processes and help drive business process improvement workflows
  • Creates specific documentation with the guidance of senior staff
  • Assists with identifying and resolving issues, and facilitate appropriate escalation for timely resolution
  • Conduct formal presentations and prepare presentation for project level work
  • Prepare end user training materials
  • Assists with developing and executing user acceptance testing plans including creation of test cases
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss team and project/program related activities, issues, changes, and communications as needed
  • Provide service to users, according to the defined service level agreement
  • Adhere to recognized project management tools and methodologies
  • Analyze business processes to ensure accurate system configuration
  • Create and run reports as needed using tools such as Epic Reporting Workbench
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Expertise with Epic preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with all relevant parties across the organization
  • Experience in end user management
  • Able to learn and understand clinical workflows quickly.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization including both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to effectively conduct small meetings, both formal and informal.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within and external to the organization.
  • Strong PC skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and Visio preferred.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, IT or related field of study.

Work location and Additional Info:
Travel within local area may be required.
