Job Title: Data Strategy Manager

Opportunity Overview :
  • Participate in operations of commercial data, business rule development, integration, governance, and security.
  • Support management of projects, data integration operations and ensures quality.
  • Support and maintain production services.
  • Act as primary point of contact for data consumers across the Commercial organization and IT, taking responsibility for reporting requirements, data mapping, ad-hoc query delivery to support reporting initiatives and systems integration of new data assets
  • Work to define business requirements.
  • Prepare project plans/timelines, budgets, requirements documents and test plans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop technical approaches and designs.
  • Manage technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Ensure proper QC procedures are followed for all projects.
  • Develop and monitor operational processes for data delivery and quality control.
  • Takes ownership of  large-scale, ongoing project and/or area that may contain multiple reports, analysis, and representations (new data integrations, BI tool enhancement projects, specialty pharmacy network build, etc.)
  • Implement /and enforce governance policies and define business rules to ensure the integrity, security and consistency of commercial data, documents, and business intelligence
  • Maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of delivered reports.
  • Collaborate with cross functional departments on on-going projects and deliverables.
  • Respond to inquiries and questions.
  • Track issues and ensure timely resolution through working with DSM and/or IT team members.
  • Provide business requirements and partner with IT on the data warehouse structure, integration, and integration between ETL, database structure, and reporting/analytics to provide critical business services.
  • Partner with IT to ensure that all data load processes and structures meet the requirements for reporting and analysis, and that key information needed for decision making is available to each major constituency
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Must have advanced understanding of the methods of database queries.
  • Proven expertise with data analysis regarding tracking of sales data, field activity and data inquiry investigation.
  • Prior experience in customer targeting, quota setting, and respective commercial data processes preferred.
