Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to  be part of a ground breaking project with a world renowned industry leader!

Opportunity Overview :
  • Evaluate, monitor, and maintain the integrity of business data assets 
  • Plan and execute testing activities for analytical products
  • Conduct requirement analysis, lead and drive discussion on test strategy and test plans, create reusable test scripts, track product defects, and deliver test results/metrics
  • Apply technical expertise to facilitate effective troubleshooting and data issue resolution
  • Develop repeatable testing routines to expedite QA process that can also be used to closely monitor recurring production data delivery
  • Identify opportunities for QA process improvement and increased operational efficiencies
  • Produce customer facing and internal documentation to expand product knowledge repository
  • Monitor operational source data ingestion and perform quality checks on the data; collaborate with team members on data remediation and data cleanup activities
  • Translate business requirements to establish data quality rules; develop and support implementation of data quality scorecards
  • Perform testing on data warehouse analytic assets to ensure our products meet the business needs and requirements
  • Summarize testing and validation results; communicate and make recommendations on the best course of action to remediate data issues
Qualifications & Required skills:
  •  3+ years of experience in professional data warehouse QA/Testing and/or data analytics experience, broad knowledge of testing approaches and techniques
  • Experience with SQL/SAS
  • Experience with SQL Server platform is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Informatica Data Quality or other data quality tools is a plus but not required
  • Experience working in environments where Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices are used a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of basic relational database concept and ETL methodologies
  • Basic understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse platforms e.g. Snowflake, Azure Synapse
