An Overture Partners client has an immediate need for Digital Engineer. The candidate in this role will support product team and contribute to the software design, development, and overall lifecycle for the product.
Must have excellent collaboration skills to deliver features that align with business and product strategy.

Opportunity Overview:

  • Tasked with the development of fulfillment features leveraging IBM Sterling Order Management Software and/or Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to build scalable and secure solutions.
  • Work closely with product managers in the discovery phase all projects to ensure all the engineering considerations are met.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
  • Proactively monitor the production systems to identify anomalies
  • Work closely with reliability engineers to solve production issues.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation and growth
  • Advocate new technologies and ideas for adding value to the business.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of active, hands-on, development experience
  • Experience with End-to-End development within IBM Sterling Order Management Software (version 9.3 or higher).
  • Experience with back-end development using JAVA/Spring Boot, and other open source technologies
  • Experience building integrations and feeds to 3rd party providers and internal consuming systems
  • Experience with order management capabilities
  • Exposure to IBM Sterling Call Center
  • Experience with database technologies DB2, Dynamo DB, Redshift, MySQL, hibernate a plus
  • Exposure to cloud technology (AWS/GCP/Azure), batch processing using Spring Batch and streaming solutions   (i.e. KAFKA )
  • Exposure to micro services architecture, cloud native architecture, test driven development.
  • Exposure to various performance monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work in a Product Team model, in a fast-paced, flexible, Agile environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues in timebound manner
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree or related work experience
