Duration of Contract: 7 Months with potential for extension
Location: Onsite 4 days a week in Boston

Overture Partners client has an immediate need for a Full Stack Java Developer to join their team.  This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a well established industry leader!!! 

Opportunity Overview :
  • Provide leadership to team and guide in application design, coding and best practices
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and relevant teams to manage eCommerce Applications and related services
  • Partner with Architecture team to layout, document and explain new applications.
  • Participate in the design process and enhance current application designs.
  • Assist relevant teams in the design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of application systems
  • Will assist with the forecasting application performance requirements and storage requirements based on user volume.
  • Assist with troubleshooting applications in various environments related to project initiatives.
  • Will work with manager to determine resources required to complete project initiatives
  • Deliver quality application code that is tested in the Dev environment to QA in a timely manner as promised along with documentation as required.
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in developing integrated server-side applications (Java/RDBMS).
  • Experience with JBoss (or other application servers), Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
  • Experience with SVN and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
  • Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS and setting up DevOps pipelines with Jenkins.
  • Exposure to A/B Testing tools.
  • Experience with developing Spring RESTful Web Services.
  • Excellent understanding of non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, maintainability and security.
  • Strong understanding of web application security.
Desired Skills:
  • AWS Certification is a plus
