Overture Partners client has an immediate need for an experienced Fully Stack .Net Software Engineer to join their team.  This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a contract to perm role within the Greater Boston Area. 

Opportunity Overview:
  • Will leverage technical expertise to develop/maintain web base systems and applications.
  • Implement software development life cycle
  • Develop technical documentation related to complex requirements
  • Responsible for writing high quality testable code.
  • Adheres to code standards to ensure security/develop methodologies defined by subject matter experts and managers.
  • Complete upgrades and diagnose current system issues.
  • Create resolution for data issues by writing SQL queries
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders and teams to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Maintain communications with end users to ensure work is completed successfully
Qualifications and Required skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of Computer Science/Software Engineering standards and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in engineering high-quality web applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, ADO.NET, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience working with REST APIs and other web-based APIs
  • Expertise deploying applications using IIS
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, database architecture, and stored procedure development
  • Test-driven development experience
  • Unit testing and frameworks (i.e.MSTest, xUnit)
  • Advanced debugging skills; experience working in Agile - Scrum teams
  • Solid understanding MS Word and Excel.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira is preferred.
  • Expertise with cloud based development/deployment
  • Proven experience with Sitecore v9+ or any other CMS is a plus
  • Front end engineering experience in Angular/JS, React, Vue or similar highly desirable
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (degree is in IT, computer science, software engineering, or related field is preferred)
Work location and Additional Info:
  • Hybrid work environment; candidates within communing distance to Boston are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Will provide on call support after hours as requested
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the position
