Job Title: Information Security Specialist
Job Number: 20303
Duration of Contract: 3 Months to start with potential for long term extension

Our client has an immediate need for an Information Security Specialist to provide leadership and technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have advanced security domain knowledge and technical skills.

Opportunity Overview
  • Brings strong leadership and advanced security domain knowledge.
  • Works collaboratively to execute on program delivery and provides risk based operational metrics/management support.
  • Utilizes information generated by in house security tools to assist in driving awareness and change.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for technology & vendor solutions towards managing the information security risk.
  • Prepares, evaluates and presents solutions, improvements and makes recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Participates actively in service offering through envisioning and evangelizing automation capabilities and improvement opportunities.
  • Improve operational efficiencies, create repeatable operating procedures, lead and strives in metrics-based culture.
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Advanced understanding, scripting and developing integrations
  • Expertise with Business Process Engineering, Technology Maturity and Building efficiencies with automation
  • Certifications (CISSP/ CISM/ CISA) nice to haves.
  • Domain knowledge of Security applications
  • Expert knowledge in working with and managing information security risk, compliance requirements using GRC tools, specifically Galvanize\RSAM, preferred.
  • Experience performing, reviewing information security risk assessments and risk analysis
  • Demonstrates an understanding of processes, internal controls, risk management, information security controls, and how they interact together.
  • Strong technical skills to build system integrations, metrics & data dashboards.
  • Familiarity with ACL scripting or reporting tools is a plus.
Educational Requirements:
  • BS in Technology or Computer Science (Master’s Degree preferred) related field with 5+ years of experience required.
  • Information Security professional with industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) strongly preferred.

Work location and Additional Info:
Remote to start but will be expected to work onsite at later date TBD
