Job Title: IT & Security Audit Consultant
Job Number: 20882
Duration of Project: 6+ Months

Opportunity Overview :
  • Develop and execute audits of initiatives.
  • Deliver audit reports that are insightful, actionable, timely, and concise.   
  •  Review scope of current security audit activities and recommend additional areas for review.   
  •  Development and execution of risk-based IT and security audits, including cloud security.   
  •  Leverage past experiences and knowledge of automated tools to recommend areas for automation of audits.   
  •  Review Model Audit Rule testing for IT General Controls prepared by staff/senior auditor.   
  •  Works collaboratively with all levels of the Internal Audit, Risk Management and Information Security.
  • Creates and maintains productive working relationships within senior IT and business leaders.     
Challenges/Problem Solving
  • Oversees and escalate needed updates to IT, security, and business risks.
  •  Collaborates with  IT and  business leader defining objective, effective audit services.
  • Provides constant evaluation security plan for every changing environment.

Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Advanced understanding of IT and security methodologies
  • Ability to implement and oversee a complex strategy involving technical, administrative, and physical controls and safeguards 
  • Ability to adapt and operate in a flexible audit and engagement schedule
  • Proven experience with risk analysis and assessment skills
  • Extensive project management experience, experience in long-term planning and strategy required
  • Ability to relate with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, achieve resolution, and formulate responses or action plans with senior leaders who possess diverse perspectives
Educational Requirements:
  •  Minimum of Bachelors degree or advanced graduate degree
  • Information Technology Audit or security certification

Work location and Additional Info:
Will sit on site in the Greater Boston area
