Job Title: IT Contracts Manager
Duration of Contract: 6 Months

Opportunity Overview:
  • Responsible for proposed contractual arrangements, outsourcing activities, and vendor relationships, ensuring these are correct, legal, ethical, and commercially sound. 
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, and Audit
  •  Lead the procurement and contract life cycle with business and IT customers. 
  • Manage simple as well as some complex bidding and negotiation processes, including large scale RFPs. 
  • Content areas include SaaS arrangements, software, hosting, maintenance, application development, implementation services, and hardware. 
  • Develops RFPs and support selection of new vendors in accordance with supplier proposal scoring guidelines
  • Supports or drives contract negotiation and approval process to establish vendor partnerships
  • Identifies contractual issues, clarifies the value of potential changes to contract language, and responds quickly to customer concerns in the contracting process
  • May contribute to policies and procedures related to vendor relationships
  • Evaluates vendors relative to the market, seek ways to improve cost of vendors
  • Responsible for asset tracking, license administration and maintenance activities
  • Provides general contractual / commercial advice for the contract holder, the project manager, and project team members 
  • Complete vendor performance summary, close all agreements, document lessons learned and process improvement ideas
  • Analyzes potential cost reductions opportunities based on realigning vendors with the market, or switching between vendors
  • Work with resource manager to identify roles and skills that can be sourced to third party resources
  • Engages with finance, business, and corporate areas throughout the vendor relationship lifecycle
  • Supports vendor lifecycle in accordance with organizational Standard Practices for Procurement and Contract Negotiations
  • Ensures compliance with all contractual provisions
  • Provide regular, detailed updates to Director regarding vendor partnerships

Qualifications & Required Skills
  •   5-7 years direct IT contract and vendor management experience
  • Procurement experience with RFPs and complex negotiations
  • Experience with finance and accounting; project management skills·    
Educational Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s degree 
·         MBA a plus
·         Experience with SLA compliance and dispute resolution
