Opportunity Overview:
- Will be accountable for the design, Implementation, administration, and support of infrastructure, end-user, and Helpdesk support requirements.
- Support technology infrastructure solutions, including but not limited to, servers, storage, network, telecom, security, backups, and compliance.
- Identify, implementation, and support of end-user compute solutions based on standards.
- Determine and maintain best practices for helpdesk support tasks
- Collaborate with IT managers to create and implement long term infrastructure plans.
- Create project plans, budgetary estimates, set priorities and timlines
- Set standards and facilitate for infrastructure functions and teams
- Analyze current environments and provide recommendations for improvements
- Create enhancements and strategies for technical systems
- Proactively investigate new technologies that align with business needs.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all systems and services
- Oversee external parties contracted to work on and/or manage I.T. systems.
- Evaluate hardware, software, services and outside vendor resources as needed.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- 10+ years experience with a combination of solid leadership and technical skills.
- Experience leader with a background in I.T. systems restructuring, cloud migrations.
- All Microsoft Operating systems for server and desktop, including Azure.
- VMWare, IBM storage, Exagrid, Veeam and cloud-based storage for DR-HA.
- Sophos, HP and Cisco networking or equivalent background.
- VoIP, data, wireless and communications services.
- Outstanding customer service skills; proactively seeks out opportunities to support users
- Ability to simplify systems to align with business needs
- Advanced troubleshooting/critical thinking skills
- Ability to develop budgets and plans, manage projects, and leverage best practices.
- Effective written and oral communication skills with all levels of the company.
- BS Degree Information Technology, Computer Science or Business.
