Our client has an immediate need for a .Net Software Engineer to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration skills with the  ability to lead and mentor team.  Must have advanced prioritization and analytical skills to successfully execute on competing tasks.

Opportunity Overview :
  • Responsible for Design, develop, test, debug and implement moderately complex systems components, software tools, applications and utilities.
  • Will make moderately complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations.
  • Maintains program libraries and technical documentation.
  • Assists in planning, scheduling and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule.
  • Collaborate and leads team to implement solutions.
  • Leads team Projects in relation to work delegation, coaching and escalation to management.
  • Stays current on emerging technologies and trends.
  • Develops and delivers daily communications to management and internal organizations regarding status of all assigned tasks
  • Develops accurate task definition, estimates and tasks schedule for own assignment
  • Prepares and maintains problem logs and communicates log status to analysts or users
  • Collaborates with Analysts in the business design and technical design of end-user applications system
  • Works on implementation of new systems including integrations
  • Verifies and installed systems to ensure user requirements are fulfilled
  • Participates in coding of new programs, creating new data structures, physical data record/file design, creating new jobstreams, and modifying existing programs, data structures and job streams
  • Develops test cases and test plans, creates the unit test environment
  • Conducts unit and system tests for new or modified programs and/or job streams
  • Submits program and design work for review by technical and user staff
  • Participates in the review of program and design work of others
  • Reviews and validates the application of sound programming and design techniques
  • Prepares and maintains program and system documentation using established department standards and methodologies
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • 5-8 years relevant work experience preferred
  • Expert level of understanding of object oriented design and programming concepts
  • 3+ years’ experience working with web technologies, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • 3+ years using ASP.NET MVC design patterns
  • Solid understanding of IIS
  •  2+ years’ experience with SQL server
  • SSRS report development • Solid knowledge of TFS version control
  • Deep understanding of WCF, Rest services and RF
  • Working knowledge of programming languages, tools, DBMS and utilities
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Possesses solid knowledge of program design, coding, testing and documentation
  • Experience with Telerik Controls (Kendo)
  • SSIS package development experience
  • Experience branching and merging code in TFS
  • Experience using ASP.NET Web Forms
  • Working knowledge of transactional database concepts, data modeling, and design
