Our client has an immediate need for a Senior level Network Cloud Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a lengthy work history leading highly complex projects.  

Opportunity Overview :
  • Leads projects, designing systems and architecture, developing documentation and delivering transfer of knowledge.
  • Utilizes various network management techniques to ensure that the networks are performing as designed.
  • Determines the need for network management tools, participating in their design, development, and implementation.
  • Maintain knowledge of the state of the art developments in network management and recommending new technology when appropriate.
  • Contribute heavily in the design, construction, and on-going maintenance of various networks.
  • Takes on leadership role in the development of organizational network strategy.
  • Supports wide area network, Ethernet LANS, and the ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure. 
  • Create and maintain documentation designed to facilitate the operation and maintenance of the various networks.
  • Respond to user reports of network difficulties, resolving same, and reporting corrective actions taken.
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience
  • Experience working with technologies involving Cisco, Arista, IP Routing, LAN Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls as well as F5 Load Balancers.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS Cloud environments as well as some scripting knowledge would be highly preferred.
Educational Requirements:
  • Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and 5 years of previous network experience.
  • Preferred certifications include: CCNA,CCNP, CCIE or JNCIE..
Work location and Additional Info:
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Remote role but will be expected to be on site occasionally.
