Our client has an immediate need for a Network Engineer to join their team.  This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with an industry leader.

Opportunity Overview :
  • Directs projects, designing systems and architecture, developing documentation and delivering transfer of knowledge. 
  • Uses various network management techniques to ensure that the networks are performing as designed. 
  • Defines need for network management tools
  • Participates in design, development, and implementation.
  • Stays current on cutting edge tools for developments in network management.  Provides recommendation for modern technologies that align with business goals.
  • Will have a strong impact on design, construct and on going maintenance for various networks.
  • Leads in the development of network strategy. 
  • Supports wide area network, Ethernet LANS and on going maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Develop and update documentation designed to facilitate the operation and maintenance of the various networks.
  • Listens and response to user reports of network difficulties, Responsible for resolving and reporting corrective actions taken to deal with users issues.
  • Acts as representative in meetings, seminars etc. 

Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and 5 years of previous network experience.
  • Experience working with technologies involving Cisco, Arista, IP Routing, LAN Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls as well as F5 Load Balancers. 
  • Experience with Azure, AWS Cloud environments as well as some scripting knowledge would be highly preferred.
Education & Certifications Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline
  • Preferred certifications CCNA,CCNP, CCIE or JNCIE.. but not required
