Our client has an immediate need for a Performance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic talented team. 

Opportunity Overview :
  • Provide end to end performance test solutions for various projects within a program.
  • Draft performance test artifacts, including test plans and test summaries.
  • Assess and ensure team members design, create and maintain performance test scripts.
  • Will assess the quality of performance test scripts and tests.
  • Develop workload models
  • Work with team members to define/enhance processes and strategies associated with performance testing.
  • Applies appropriate performance testing technologies to meet the short and long term goals of the testing organization with a focus on improving overall testing efficiency
  • Troubleshoot performance issues in collaboration with architecture and development teams.
  • Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions.
  • Improve the reliability and repeatability of performance testing.
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish performance testing scope and effort.
  • Actively participates in and supports the software development life cycle and project management process.
  • Seek out opportunities to  increased responsibilities and takes ownership of tasks at hand; looks for and takes advantage of opportunities.
  • Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.
  • Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements.
  • Evaluate system performances and recommend improvements.
  • Generate periodic performance reports for management review.
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • 6 or more years of IT Performance Testing experience.
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Ability to be a positive team member
  • Ability to analyze data for various sources to develop effective testing strategies. 
  • Excellent prioritization skills with ability to meet time lines. 
  • Experience with Performance Monitoring Tools 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
Work location and Additional Info:
Remote to start but may be expected to work onsite at later date - TBD
