Opportunity Overview :
  • Plan and manage projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver projects using Agile project management methodologies.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Forecasts, plan and assign project resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Maintain communications with stakeholders to provide project updates, progress and adjustments.
  •  Develop budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project expenditures to align with goals
  • Create status reports and variance analysis to ensure project remains on track.
  • Apply best practices and standards throughout life cycle of project.
  • Measure project performance to uncover areas for opportunity
  • Facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups, participating in all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Evaluate project's success at completion based on achievement of benefits and value proposition assessment.
  • Participate in the development of project charters, value propositions and risk action plans.
  • Develops work plans and estimates for large complex projects
  •  Act as a subject matter expert and consultant to mentor/coach team leaders in the use of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Assist various teams to ensure systems and business plans are developed and documented in accordance with quality control standards.
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a software project manager.
  • Expertise in Agile project management methodologies - Scrum, SAFe, Kanban.
  • Skilled in using project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project.

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field of study
  • PMP/PMI ACP/CSM certification preferred.

Work location and Additional Info:
  • Hybrid work environment but candidates must be within commuting distance to Boston, MA
