Our client has a current need for a Sr. level Business Analyst to participate in a large-scale enterprise wide project within the greater Boston area! 

Opportunity Overview:
  • Support in the coordination of daily interface activities and technical requirements of internal systems.
  • Assists with data research and analysis activities utilizing  defined processes
  • Responsible for the development and implementation plans related to interfaces and data migrations.
  • Participate in various internal projects. To include the following: Cloud migration initiative; security/privacy standard and Systems Delivery Lifecycle enhancements.
  • Collaborate with all project stakeholders to gather interface requirements.
  •  Design interface solutions in coordination with BA teams and Partners.
  •  Determine interface specifications and record layouts for development team
  • Review detailed specifications for web services
  • Modify existing layouts in coordination with relevant teams.
  •  Participate in integration testing with partners.
  • Responsible for testing new and updated interfaces.
  • Manage interface deployment with all individuals associated with project
  • Research, analyze and trouble-shoot application interface and data issues.
  • Perform SSA data analysis on Inbound /Outbound file transfers.
  • Support data extraction and exchange with external source systems.
  • Test and approve data conversion for all new projects.
  • Support maintenance and enhancements of existing interfaces.
  • Assist in resolving issues by working as a liaison between the business users, interface partners and development staff.
  • Coordinate with Interface/Business partners and production support teams to resolve interface emergency issues.
  • Coordinate with the various infrastructure teams for approvals and changes to networks, gateways, security etc. for all interface related changes as well as production emergencies.
  • Support the technical requirements of the MMIS hosting and software environments.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
  • Proven experience working on large-scale projects.
  • Experience within the Healthcare industry preferred
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work with project stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced documentations skills - must have
  • 8+ years IT experience with strong interface and data analysis experience
  • Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and hosting environments standards
  • Strong understanding of interface design and data structures
  • Strong Knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, and data exchange
  • Experience in file exchange mechanisms and protocols like sftp is required.
  • Prior experience developing requirement documents and technical specifications is required
  • Experience with SQL is required
  • Experience with web service validations and testing tools like SoapUI or similar and defining requirements and testing specifications is required.
  • Understanding of encryption and familiarity with a Unix/Linux environment
  • Proficient in business analysis to support all stages of SDLC.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, IT or relevant field of study
