Our client has a current need for a Sr. level Business Analyst to participate in a large-scale enterprise wide project within the greater Boston area!
Opportunity Overview:
- Support in the coordination of daily interface activities and technical requirements of internal systems.
- Assists with data research and analysis activities utilizing defined processes
- Responsible for the development and implementation plans related to interfaces and data migrations.
- Participate in various internal projects. To include the following: Cloud migration initiative; security/privacy standard and Systems Delivery Lifecycle enhancements.
- Collaborate with all project stakeholders to gather interface requirements.
- Design interface solutions in coordination with BA teams and Partners.
- Determine interface specifications and record layouts for development team
- Review detailed specifications for web services
- Modify existing layouts in coordination with relevant teams.
- Participate in integration testing with partners.
- Responsible for testing new and updated interfaces.
- Manage interface deployment with all individuals associated with project
- Research, analyze and trouble-shoot application interface and data issues.
- Perform SSA data analysis on Inbound /Outbound file transfers.
- Support data extraction and exchange with external source systems.
- Test and approve data conversion for all new projects.
- Support maintenance and enhancements of existing interfaces.
- Assist in resolving issues by working as a liaison between the business users, interface partners and development staff.
- Coordinate with Interface/Business partners and production support teams to resolve interface emergency issues.
- Coordinate with the various infrastructure teams for approvals and changes to networks, gateways, security etc. for all interface related changes as well as production emergencies.
- Support the technical requirements of the MMIS hosting and software environments.
- Proven experience working on large-scale projects.
- Experience within the Healthcare industry preferred
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work with project stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced documentations skills - must have
- 8+ years IT experience with strong interface and data analysis experience
- Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and hosting environments standards
- Strong understanding of interface design and data structures
- Strong Knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, and data exchange
- Experience in file exchange mechanisms and protocols like sftp is required.
- Prior experience developing requirement documents and technical specifications is required
- Experience with SQL is required
- Experience with web service validations and testing tools like SoapUI or similar and defining requirements and testing specifications is required.
- Understanding of encryption and familiarity with a Unix/Linux environment
- Proficient in business analysis to support all stages of SDLC.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, IT or relevant field of study
