Overture Partners client has a current need for a collaborative team player to work in a Sr. Network Engineer role to support and provide guidance pertaining to network services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism while engaging with stakeholders of all levels.  

Opportunity Overview :
  • Accountable for supporting assigned team with all network issues. 
  • Collaborates with various teams including supporting global teams during outages 
  • Accountable to taking ownership of all assigned requirements
  • Will plan, manage and execute complex network system changes in support of customer/business requests
  • Responsible for implementing testing, debugging and analyzing network efficiencies . 
  • Produces and develops documentation, policies and procedures
  • Oversees and maintains global network architecture devices to ensure maximum availability  minimal resource contention and capacity planning.
  • Keeps stakeholders informed regarding outages, scheduled maintenances charges
  • Accountable for ensuring testing has been completed successfully prior to implementation.
  • Responsible for incident response/troubleshooting ticket handling for infrastructure.
  • Responsible for creating, editing, monitoring and responding to system alerts and escalating when necessary.
  • Implement and review hot fixes and upgrades
  • Enact and test disaster recover plan
  • Engage vendor support as necessary to address technical roadblocks as needed
Qualifications & Required skills:
  •  5+ years hands on experience with core networking and related technologies.
  • Expertise with Cisco on all platforms - wire and wireless
  • Aruba - nice to have 
  • Expertise with Fortnet, CloudGenics, SDLAN, DNS

Certification & Educational Requirements:
  • Cisco CCNA or CCNP or additional vendor certifications
  • Security certifications a plus
  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, related field of study, or equivalent work experience
Work location and Additional Info:
Work will be completed onsite within greater Boston area
