Job Title: Senior Project Manager - W2 Only

Duration of Contract: 6 Months

Overture Partners client has a current need for Sr Level Project Manager with proven experience managing enterprise-wide projects. 

Opportunity Overview :
  • Accountable for definition and scope of work.
  • Manage project milestones, tasks and resource allocation requirements related to security.
  • Determine communication strategies with key engagement leaders, team members and clients throughout project life cycle. 
  • Create and maintain project plan, status reports, risks and log issues, budget forecast resource needed.
  • Develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks and contingency planning.
  • Coordinate, determine and negotiate project scope changes and determine dependencies.
  • Adheres to standard policies and guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve project issues
  • As needed escalate issues that require executive or business attention.
  • Oversee and critique vendors performance and to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • 10 years Project Management experience in IT projects
  • General understanding of application, operational and infrastructure principles and guidelines
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in negotiating and organizing project deliverables and timing within a complex business environment in order to manage stakeholder’s expectations
  • Demonstrated experience with various SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, etc.)Proven experience managing projects that are mission-critical network changes and deployments
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple outside vendor contracts, relationships and deliverables
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security
Desired skills:
  • PMP Certification is desirable, but not required
  • IP and serial based communications
  • SCADA technology
Educational Requirements:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related degree
