Our client has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to join their team!  The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

Opportunity Overview :
  • Assist with creating and maintaining enterprise applications to present content owned and directed by various business groups and departments.
  • Assist with estimating the efforts for new solution to be built and participate in demand intake process
  • Research and develop proof of concepts for advanced application development frameworks and capabilities.
  • Build reference architectures for rapid application development using application patterns to make the teams productive
  • Collaborate with team members and end users to deliver projects. 
  • Coordinating documenting user requirements with a Business Systems Analyst
  • Collaborates with relevant team to ensure appropriate review of the designs to meet the end users expectations
  • Directs design and architecture utilizing standard methodologies
  • Build system by managing technical developers
  • Work on design and code review as well as overseeing unit/integration and Testing of system
  • Provide technical documentation for application 
  • Drives DevOps adoption to ensure repeatable deployments and integrated with code quality checks among other software development life cycle standards
  • Work as a contributing member of team to ensure smooth working and efficient and quick delivery of applications, internet/intranet sites, and projects.
  • Works with relevant teams to define development processes, methodologies and frameworks.  
  • Assist in the development of easily maintained and migratable intranet and internet application
  • Act as mentor to teammates on server architecture, products and development tools
  • Ensure assigned jobs are completed according to schedule and that all deadlines are met
  • Ensure the design of sufficient documentation for easy hand-over of projects
  • Participate in the formulation and design of methodologies for the Intranet / Internet group
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Experience designing applications and integrating with other technologies and applications.
  • Advanced modeling skills.
  • Ability to architect simple and complex solutions related to integration with other applications and design
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts in a simple effective way both verbally and in written documentation.
  • Ability to present formally to users and customers during gathering requirements, workshops and feedback sessions.
  • Must be able to assist with complex tasks that require considerable judgment and initiative.
Technical Expertise:
  • Java, J2EE, Spring, Angular JS, Oracle DB, SQL/PL-SQL
  • Modern API development experience using digital interoperability standards will be an added plus
  • Application modernization and composable application development using API economy to deliver superior role centric experience via omnichannel enablers will be very much preferred
  • UML diagrams with emphasis on use-case diagram, class diagram and sequence diagram
  • TOGAF architectural framework standards to document enterprise architectures.
  • SOAP and RESTful API development using standard based approaches
  • Mulesoft platform (both on-prem and cloud) will be preferred
  • Containers based development for scalability
  • Low code/Nocode platform experience such as ServiceNow, Out, Mendix, Salesforce etc will be an added plus
    o DevOps using Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Blackduck, Sonar, and Jenkins/PuTTy will be very much preferred
  • Unix, Shell scripting
  • Microsoft Windows and Products
  • .Net framework (nice to have)
  • JDeveloper, TOAD, and other related tools required to do the effective and efficient development.
Educational Requirements:
Masters degree with 6+ years of experience OR PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
