This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to work with a talented team. 

Opportunity Overview :
  • Responsible for writing code.
  • Collaborates with developers throughout  business 
  • Assist with evolving next generation of online  business specific platform.
  • Works as part of a team that is the engine behind how our customers are entitled to access our products and platforms. 
  • Pair program with different people across a variety of situations.
  • Coach junior level team members to foster skills sets across team
  • Identifies opportunities for continuously learning and acquiring new practices, processes, technologies and languages.
  • Committed to completing well-defined work, and delivering on those commitments.
  • Lead in the breakdown, estimation, and design of small increments of work.
  • Test solutions with the utmost scrutiny.
  • Takes necessary measures to ensure customers and employees data  is secure during all phases of work
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • 5+ years of experience working on core Java projects.
  • Advanced understanding of HTTP/REST/API architectures
  • Strong understanding of application and enterprise design patterns
  • Understanding of the full SDLC
  • Technical leadership experience 
  • Strong design understanding of cloud based applications.
  • Familiar with testing concepts and strategies using tools like Junit or Gatling.
  • Experience working with Java web containers such as Tomcat or JBoss
  • Experience using source code control systems, such as Git or Stash and build/integration tools like Maven and Jenkins.
  • Comfortable with complex algorithms and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with a variety of software development applications, environments, and languages
  • AWS web hosting
Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
