Job Title: Vulnerability and Risk Analyst

Duration of Contract: 6 Months


Opportunity Overview :
  • Responsible for management and maintenance of business vulnerability scanning platform.
  • Ensure asset inventory in the tool is up-to-date and will create and maintain vulnerability scanning schedules as new IT infrastructure is brought online.
  • Responsible for creating usable metrics which can drive the program forward and allow platform owners to focus on what the most critical vulnerabilities are in the enterprise.
  • Use existing volume based approach to vulnerability management and move it to a more risk based program.
  • Create monthly and quarterly penetration testing schedules.
  • Obtain approvals for schedules, coordinate testing, and work with platform owners on remediation of any findings discovered as part of those tests.
  • Will provide hands-on, technical support to lead discussions on the overall vulnerability management.
  • Presents web application testing and penetration testing findings to technical teams. 
Qualifications & Required skills:
  • Advanced hands-on experience with one or more vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with web application vulnerabilities and their corresponding remediation techniques (e.g. XSS, XSRF, SQL Injection, cryptographic vulnerabilities, broken authentication, etc.).
  • Experience working with 3rd party penetration testers and red-teams.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of technical experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security specifically in the area of vulnerability management or penetration testing
Educational Requirement
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field of study
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or relevant SANS certification including SEC542, SEC565, SEC560, SEC660, or MGT516
