Job Title: Workday Compensation Functional Lead

Duration of Contract 12+ Months with potential for extension


This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Workday Compensation Functional Lead to secure a year long contract implementing innovations in technology and standards. 

Opportunity Overview :
  • Will complete a mandatory training
  • Leverages knowledge of Workday functionality and navigation to complete organizational initiatives
  • Accountable for leading compensation functional area workstreams.
  • Manages tasks, documentation, knowledge share and collaborates with consultants.
  • Actively participates in project workshops to determine areas for improvement, areas for standardization, unique variances, and potential differences in functionality
  • Collaborates with business to capture functional decisions for designated Workstream.
  • Engage with Business SME(s) to understand key project functional/technical success factors, critical needs, and gather information. 
  • Facilitate decision making with the delegated business SMEs
  • Provide information, documentation, and answer questions regarding previous implementation efforts
  • Collaborates with project team members in configuring the system.
  •  Partner with Test Lead to ensure timely execution of testing, update configurations, and drafting of test scripts where necessary. 
  • Contribute to the change management implications of adopting the new standard business processes. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers in identifying, understanding, and managing upstream and downstream impacts by configuration and business process decisions across all functional areas
  • Work with Security lead to identify all security requirements  pertaining their functional area
  • Participate in Workday Delivery Assurance reviews as requested
  • Continually communicate business requirements.
  • Collect reports and define reporting requirements
  • Validate architecture/design
  • Determine what data will be migrated
  • Perform mapping and cleansing data
  • Create industry specific training and documentation
Work location and Additional Info:
  • Hybrid work environment with occasional travel to Maine
